Storm on the Homestead

In Storm on the Homestead, I painted a towering storm sky above golden fields, green trees, and a small rural homestead. Layers of soft gray and luminous clouds give way to deep blue along the horizon, drawing attention to the contrast between the powerful sky and the quiet land below.

I invite you to linger with the shifting light and sweeping clouds, letting your eye travel from the weathered building and open fields into the sky overhead. This original pastel brings a little of that rural spaciousness and storm-sky drama into your home.
